Guests should arrive by 5:15 PM at Saphire Estate either by car or by the shuttle bus. The ceremony will start at 5:30 PM. Cocktail hour will run from 6:00-7:00 PM. The reception will be held from 7:00-11:00 PM. The shuttle bus will return guests to the hotels at 9:30 PM and 11:00 PM. An after party (at the Courtyard Marriott) will begin at 11:30 PM.

Yes! The shuttle bus will pick up guests from the Hampton Inn - Norwood and the Courtyard Marriott - Norwood between 4:45 PM and 5:00 PM. It will drop everyone off at Saphire Estate by 5:15 PM.

The shuttle will depart from Saphire Estate at 9:30 PM and again at 11:00 PM and will drive guests back to the Hampton Inn and Courtyard Marriott.

Yes! There is a parking lot to the right of the venue as you pull up the driveway. Feel free to drive to the venue if that is easiest for you.

Our wedding is formal attire. For women, this means long dresses, dresses that hit just above the ankle, or dressy 2-piece sets. For men, this means a suit and tie, with nice shoes to complete the look.

Our wedding will encompass warm fall colors. Bridesmaids will be wearing a deep rosy-brown.

While weather in New England can be unpredictable, expect temperatures to be between 32-45 degrees Fahrenheit. Remember that this is an evening affair in November, so it may get chilly at night!

While there will be patio space to use if the weather cooperates, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors. However, there is a short, covered walk (about 20 seconds) to and from the ceremony/reception space and the cocktail hour space. There will be heat lamps along the pathway to accommodate the chilly weather.

You will have a choice of Ribeye Heart Steak with Truffle Demi Glaze, Sesame Crusted Sea Bass with Ginger Honey Teriyaki Glaze, or Fresh Herb Infused Vegan Julienne over Risotto.

Yes! There is a vegetarian dinner option. There are no peanuts in any food being served. Every dinner option is gluten free and gluten free desserts will also be available. If you have other dietary needs, please contact the parents of the Bride - Sara & Andrew Gavens - sgavens1@gmail.com.

We request that you do not take pictures at the ceremony as to not get in the way of our amazing photographers, but please take any photo you'd like at the cocktail hour and reception!

That's a comment, not a question. But the venue is actually spelled Saphire with one P. In 1977, Roberta and Gerald Saphire purchased Daub’s Highland Manor on Lake Massapoag, renaming it the Saphire Manor and Inn. Today, it is called Saphire Estate. With one P.
