Molly & Ben were both exactly themselves as they headed to their first date - Molly got there early and Ben drove.

As Molly was walking and Ben was driving to the date, they both had many thoughts going through their minds. Ben and Molly had great conversation on Hinge beforehand, but after many bad dates all summer, Molly had little hope that this one would be different. Feeling burnt out from too many failed first dates, she just wanted to go home. Since Ben was already on his way, she felt she couldn’t cancel, so she sat on a bench near the restaurant to wait for him.

Meanwhile, Ben drove by the restaurant and saw Molly sitting on a bench and felt suddenly nervous. He worried that the date wasn’t going to go as well as he hoped and wondered why he was putting himself through yet another first date. But Ben took a deep breath, parked his car, and walked up to Molly. When Ben asked Molly if she was his date, she looked up at him and smiled, and all his fears melted away. When Ben introduced himself to Molly, she felt butterflies and was glad she decided to take a chance on Ben; she knew this was the start of something special.

On September 21, 2021, Molly and Ben's story officially began.
